A feature that refills your health cover to full if you exhaust it during the year.
Restoration automatically tops your sum insured back up if you use it all up within a policy year.
It is a lifesaver when one big hospitalisation drains your cover but another unrelated illness follows.
Check whether it applies to the same illness or only different ones, as terms vary by policy.
For example
Exhaust a ₹5L cover on one surgery, and restoration refills it to ₹5L so a second, unrelated hospitalisation is still covered.
